2001 Ford F-150 Lariat Crewcab, 5.4 Triton V8, 82025 miles, automatic, 2WD, has all power options available plus AC, multiple CD player, tinted glass, factory towing package, fiberglass bed cover, bed liner, fiberglass running boards, second owner, non smoker truck. Comes with two keys and two remotes.
I bought this truck when I was living in SC so it's never in foul winter weather, you could call this truck a "babied" truck, only used for vacations and mostly all highway miles. Purchased in March of 2005 with 40,000 miles on it, that means since I have owned it, I averaged about 5700 miles a year! I recently moved to Ohio and it has been stored both winters and is in storage now, but is accessible. Truck is clean, clean, clean and well maintained. Truck is mechanically sound, has excellent tires on it and runs like new, no rattles or squeeks or funny smells. Chrome wheels are mint. Truck is always washed and detailed weekly. Paint finish is like new and waxed about every three months, finish is better than some new cars. Always garaged.
Drivers seat is a little worn from getting in and out, dash has two small paint chips in it, front left grill has small crack that was there when I purchased it, tailgate has small scratches here and there. Replaced original battery Labor Day of 2011. No disappointments.
Clean and clear title in hand. No warranty implied, vehicle is purchased as is. I require a $1000.00 deposit by PayPal within 24 hours of auctions end. Customer had us put a rebuilt engine in and never picked up. I have the title from owner and it is clear. Everything seems in fair shape and custmer had put a trans in it about 1 year before bring truck to me. There is a few rust spots and dents and was used as an utility truck. Speedo says 117k but title says 258K your gues is as good as mine.

This one is owned by a local workshop known for building performance cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles. (They built the first 200 mph drag bike--"The Grey Ghost" a dual-engined monster but that's another story).The shop has a habit of re-doing their vehicles to a high standard and this truck is good example. It was going to be a parts runner for the business but Dave got a little carried away and they wound up rebuilding the 4.3l six in house to a high standard and while they were at it, went through the transmission, clutch, u-joints, the lot. Build cost on this was around $10k. Reserve is $8200. This thing is ready to drive anywhere and a super good looker.New drive train except for the rear end which was solid. Brakes including lines are new, tires show 90% of new tread. Interior was freshened up including a nice modern Pioneer MP3 sound system. Has slip-in plastic bed liner and tonneau snap down cover.Pretty enough to put your company logo on it. Economical 6 cyl with a sweet shifting 5 spd--long gone on the f150 platform.The underside is beautiful and the sheet metal is hard to find many flaws with. Lovely black pearl paint shows to a very high standard like everything else that comes out of this shop.No leaks, no shakes, rattles or rolls, no check engine lights or other warnings. All electrics working as expected.

I'm a mechanical engineer with 35 yrs experience in the automotive industry including many laps around a test track in damn near every suspension platform made in the last 30 yrs. I have a 2-bay shop where I service cars for for friends and family and do about anything including an occasional engine overhaul so I am sensitive to maintenance requirements. I will respond promptly to any questions by email. I also take my responsibility for accurate descriptions and honest opinions seriously. I've sent vehicles to Europe, South America and all over North America and my feedback speaks for itself. If you don't agree with my description of the vehicle we'll just cancel the sale. I drive every car I list and note any defects as well as provide driving impressions.
AND LETS NOT FORGET:
It is well know by just about everybody who doesn't live under a rock that this is a used vehicle were talking about here which may or may not do what you or I or anyone expects it to do. Buyers understand that it's their responsibility to ask any questions, get an inspection if they choose to do so and otherwise understand that they are getting a car that is accurately and honestly described but that comes with no warrantees. New 347 Stroker crate engine EFI ford racing block with eagle specilty balanced rotating assembly forged H-beam connecting rods, Trick flow twisted wedge aluminum cylinder heads with studs, high energy comp thumper cam with upgraded roller rockers push rods and hyrolic roller lifters. edelbrock high rise aluminum intake with tall valve covers.
New alternator, new starter, new rear wheel cylinder, new posi-track rear diff. Brand new 31x10.5R15 tires on fot aluminum eagle wheels, new clutch, slave cylinder pilot bearing and throw out bearing and pressure plate. Construction style strobe lights front and rear installed, a/c has been removed for performance, cd player installed with speakers in doors. new spray on bed liner and diamond plate toolbox, reese hitch installed. brand new rear drum brakes, front brakes about a year old, new tie rod ends all new ball joints all new front wheel bearings and rotors. New 3 row aluminum radiator new fan clutch, new egr valve, new fuel injectors, all new exhaust with long headers straight pipe and tripple chrome plated tips
5 speed manual tranny no problems at all and new u-joints
bad: small rust spot in corner of front bumper and rear wheel arch, fuel gauge doesnt work with front tank small tear in corner of seat, havnt decide if i am going to replace the rear tank yet
