THE TOM WOOD STORY:
Mr. Wood's background in the automotive industry started while he was attending Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. He was a new car salesperson for a Mercury-Edsel dealer. After college he continued to sell full time until he had the opportunity to buy a small Hillman Sunbeam dealership in Kalamazoo. Within two years the manufacturer went out of business and Mr. Wood was forced to change his operation into a wholesale-retail used car lot with a complete body shop making up the major part of the total volume. He continued that operation until moving to Indianapolis in 1967 and purchasing Hedges Pontiac, which was located at 3125 E. Washington Street.Since that initial franchise acquisition, Tom Wood, Inc. has grown to seventeen franchises and a full scale leasing operation, out of several roof-top locations in four cities - Indianapolis and Anderson in Indiana, Lexington, Kentuckyand Richfield, Minnesota. The current franchises include: Toyota/Scion, Nissan, Volkswagen, Subaru, Jaguar, Volvo, Land Rover, Porsche, Audi, Ford, Lexus and Honda. ADDITIONAL FEES AND TAXESOhio residents will be required to pay Ohio state sales tax, registration, and title fees in accordance with their county of registration. Out-of state residents will be responsible for all city/ state/ county, taxes, title, and registration fees applicable in their residential state at time of vehicle registration.Out of state buyers do not pay Ohio sales tax, only the taxes charged by their state of vehicle registration. Autos Direct Online is obligated by law to collect taxes for the following states: Arizona, California, Florida, Indiana, Massachussetts, Michigan, South Carolina, and Washington. These states are "reciprocating States," meaning that we MUST collect taxes upfront, and the funds are then sent to the Department of Taxation on behalf of the buyer. Buyer then does not have to pay tax again when registering their vehicle. The taxes are added to the purchase price of the vehicle and will be paid on your behalf. Autos Direct Online will collect any applicable taxes and fees for Ohio residents. Autos Direct Online will charge a $283.50 fee to all customers to cover the cost of paperwork preparation, overnight mailing costs, title transfers, and 30 day temporary tags. We cannot waive these fees, so please do not ask.
TERMS OF SALEWe require contact from the winning bidder within 24 hours of auction close. Due to failure of the winning bidder to adhere to this policy, Autos Direct Online reserves the right to retract said vehicle purchase and make vehicle available for sale immediately. When placing a bid on a vehicle, you are entering into a legal and binding agreement to purchase the vehicle, provided you are the winning bidder.

The standard turn around time is 10 days from the time of full payment for the vehicle to arrive at the transport destination, although we always try to make sure the vehicle shows up as soon as possible. This truck is in good shape. It has been maint. regularly.There was a new frontend put under the truck about two yrs ago, upper and lower balljoints, wheel hubs. There is a new rear bumper,6 months old, the old one had a couple dings from pulling trailors. New running boards about 2 yrs old, these are stainless steel, will not rust like the factory ones do. Two new batteries last july. A new plastic piece that goes under the front bumper about 6 months old. This truck has a very good motor in it the oil pressure does not go below 30 pounds at just idealing, it goes up to 60 to 90 pounds when driving. There is a tear in the back of the drivers seat cover about two inches long the bottom is new. Also the is a scrach in the passenger rear bed where some did that to me. Also I am a second owner, my boss owned it before me. He drove it for a couple of yrs. As for shipping that will be handled by the buyer, if it is possible for me to help alittle, just ask. If you've been looking for that hard to find Chevrolet Truck with really low miles,here she is! A local one owner(non smoker) with only 30600 miles. When we brought the truck in for Va insp we knew the original tires would have to be replaced.We also discovered that the back of the rotors were rusty and replaced them also.In all we spent over $1100.00(receipts available) on this beauty! New cooper white letter tires really set off this unit! Automatic with 5.3 engine,messaging center,steering wheel controls,push button 4x4,bed mat,cruise,tilt a/c,power windows and locks,both keys and transmitters are all included!
